While it’s hard to say on my favorite books, two that come to mind are: Gone With the Wind and The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. While I come from an anti-war stance, my love of history (and maybe that anti-war stance) has given me a deep interest in the American Civil War as well as the Second World War. Maybe to see what can be avoided in the future.
