FOGELSON LIBRARY TURNS 40 YEARS OLD

OK, fans of Fogelson, it's only a few days away!  Our 40th birthday celebration week will include special displays, exhibits of items from the archives, trivia, a guessing contest, and CAKE!

FRIENDS OF  FOGELSON LIBRARY
A tribute to The Friends of the Library who run the book sales will be held on Tuesday, October 19. The Friends group was formed in July 1967 to help raise money for the construction of Fogelson Library.  Headed by Mary Grisso, the Friends were able to raise about 25% of the funds needed by the Fall of 1970.

Since the opening of the Library, the Friends have continued to provide a tremendous service by hosting book sales.  Items that are donated to Fogelson Library, but are not used in the collection, are included in the Friends' Book Sale.  Proceeds from their sales support Library programs and special purchases.

The book sale is held now on Tuesdays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  It's the best book bargain you'll find!  You can enter the sale from inside the library by going to the north side of the lower level, or from outside via the loading dock driveway on the north side of the building.

THANK YOU, FRIENDS!
