As those of you who visit us regularly have noticed, we have been making quite a few (physical & other) changes around Fogelson. The DVDs are now located on the lower level. The CDs can be found down there as well, by the LP collection, in the music corner.
We're discussing many possibilities for expanding or fine-tuning our music area to make it more accessible for students, and would like very much to hear what you think!
Finally, the magazine display has also moved down a floor, right next to the DVD collection. All magazines on display are available for in-library perusal, and most back issues are available in the serials area downstairs.
Our Alumni Photography Exhibit is still up, so please stop by & take a look if you haven't yet. Also, we're continuing to accept submissions for our gallery naming contest! Please share your ideas with us by dropping a paper slip suggestion into the jar at the information desk.
If you are interested, or know someone (students, faculty) who might be interested in exhibiting work here at Fogelson in the future, please come up to the desk & speak with one of us about the procedure for doing so. We're excited to have more art in the space, and to hear about your current projects.
Finally, you will want to take a look at both the Black History Month display located off to the right of the information desk, and the "New to Our Collection" display, located off to the left.
The Black History month display focuses on Black filmmakers and cinema, and highlights some really great work you may not have seen.
The "New to Our Collection" display showcases some fun new books that we'd like to share with you on your next visit to the library!
